Hello Internets!
It’s me! You’re shiny new Tots and Giggles writer/moderator/minion.
I wanted to take a moment of your time, to first introduce myself, and then give you a bit of a head’s up on what’s going to be happening here at TandG.
So, I’m mchall119, but I’ll refer to myself by M, something I do in real life anyway. I sign all my love notes that way – nice and mysterious – though I think the hubby has caught on by now. Anyway, I’m happily married, and a mom of two. The Boy Child is 7, and The Girl Child is 5. You’ll get to know more about the two of them as time goes on. I’ve been a stay-at-home-mom for a number of years now, and have been given the opportunity to scratch my creative itch here with the Cheezburger Network.
I like long walks on the beach, and pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain. I am not into yoga, though I’ve tried.
I’m excited to be writing for TandG! What sneaky business do I have up my sleeve for the site? I know you’re all eager with anticipation, so without much further ado, here are some up and coming features.
First, you all already have seen the Gather the Kids Video of the Day feature, and it’s been received with a good bit of approval, so we’re going to continue with that. We’re also going to start trending toward more regular features, like a Daily Birthday Cake, Parenting Tips, Kid Friendly Recipes, Friday Fails and so forth. Also start watching for a daily Gallery Of Cute, where you’ll see the photos of kids that you’ve come to know and love, and a daily Link Round-Up, where you’ll find all sorts of useful (or time-wasting yet strikingly witty) links to parenting resources, as well as other interesting tidbits.
My goal is to make TandG witty, slightly irreverent, useful, and thoroughly entertaining. I’d like to encourage you all to participate freely. If you have any suggestions, anything you’d like to see in a daily feature, any sort of input and feedback, please chime in and let your voices be heard! I can’t wait to see what sort of silliness we can come up with together.
And as always, keep sending in those photos! You never know when you’ll see a baby you know and love on the front page.
